Very sad news, Mick Walker our Clerk, sadly died on the 6th January 2017.
Mick had only been our Clerk for seven months but in that time had become an invaluable resource to your council and he is sorely missed.
Anybody who wishes to contact the council in the meantime should either call Tim Guinness, Chairman of the Parish Council who has taken on the role of interim clerk until a new successor can be found, or send an email to the clerk or alternatively contact Jacqui Matthews who was Ellisfield’s Parish Clerk from 2004 to 2015 and has kindly agreed to assist the Parish Council on an interim basis (01256 381149)
A newsletter has been written with details about the Parish Clerk vacancy and the latest information about flood resilience and planning applications. It has been distributed throughout the village in both hard copy and by email. Please click here to read it.
