Public rights to view EPC accounts

Notices pertaining to the exercise of public rights to view Ellisfield Parish Council accounts for the year ending 31stMarch 2020 between 9am and 5pm on working days from 31st July 2020 to 14th September 2020 are now on the Lower Common Parish Council notice board.

Any person wishing to exercise these rights should please telephone Peter Raine, Joint Clerk, for an appointment on 01256 381221.

The statement of accounts will not be audited on account of that authority’s self-certified status as exempt, unless either a request for an opportunity to question the auditor about the authority’s accounting records under section 26(2) or an objection under section 27(1) of the Act, results in the involvement of the local auditor; and that in either of those circumstances the audit will be limited to that required by section 20 of the Act as modified by the Smaller Authorities Regulations. (See regulation 12 of the Smaller Authorities Regulations for the application of section 20 of the Act in relation to a Category 2 authority with exempt status.).

NOTICE OF “VIRTUAL” EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

 NOTICE OF “VIRTUAL” EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 27TH AT 10.30AM

 On Saturday June 27th, there will be a “virtual” Extraordinary Meeting of Ellisfield Parish Council using Zoom at 10.30am. 

The purpose of the meeting is purely procedural to formally appoint Gordon Dunse as the EPC representative to lead the project of: 

a) Collecting residents’ and village organisations’ views on the concept document “Upper Swallick Garden Community” submitted to B&DBC by Viscount Lymington and the Trustees of the Portsmuth Settled Estates 

and 

b) Co-ordinating, in the light of those views, the initial drafting of documents for consideration by Ellisfield Parish Council as their formal response to this proposal. 

If you would like to join the meeting remotely, please inform the clerk either by e mail clerk@ellisfield.gov.uk or by phone 01256 381221 by 8pm on Friday June 26th. You will then be e-mailed an invitation to join the meeting by 10am Saturday June 27th. 

The agenda for the meeting is posted on the official website ellisfield.gov.uk and displayed on village noticeboards as usual.

Notice of “Virtual” Parish Council Meetings – May 11th at 8pm

On Monday, May 11th, there will be a virtual Annual Meeting (AGM) of Ellisfield

Parish Council followed by a Parish Council Meeting and a Meeting of the

Trustees of Ellisfield Allotment Gardeners Association, using Zoom. This series of

meetings will begin at 8pm.

If you would like to join the meetings, please inform the clerk either by e mail

clerk@ellisfield.gov.uk or by phone 01256 381221 by 10am on Monday May

11th. You will then be e mailed an invitation to join by 3pm Monday May 11th.

The agendas for the meetings will be posted on the website and displayed on

village noticeboards as usual.
